How to Enter Galaxy S6/S6 Edge into Recovery Mode!

Check out the video below!

Entering the Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge into Recovery Mode is a fairly easy process that will only take a few seconds to fully complete. But why would you need to enter into Recovery Mode? Firstly, it depends on if you are on stock Recovery or you are rooted and have a custom Recovery such as TWRP. Stock Recovery is much more limited to what you can do, but the main reason would be if you bricked your phone, stuck in boot loop and need to do a factory reset to get out of it.

For users who have a custom Recovery like TWRP then you have a much wider array of options! The biggest use of custom Recovery is the ability to flash custom ROMS and zip files on your phone! Popular ROMS like CyanogenMod and AOKP! You also have the options to backup your entire phone that you can use as a restore point if something ever happens to your phone!

Follow the guide below to enter the Galaxy S6/S6 Edge into Recovery Mode.

1. Press and hold the power button until you see a pop up, then select "Power off".

2. Now press and hold the volume up, home button, and power button all at the same time until you enter into Recovery Mode. It will look different depending on if you are on stock Recovery or on a custom Recovery.

3. You're done. You have successfully entered the Galaxy S6/S6 Edge into Recovery Mode. Have fun installing customs ROMS, backing up your phone, or even a factory reset!
